Hadn’t realised Powersellers were excluded. Let us remind ourselves of the threshold:-
“A lower transaction and gross merchandise volume requirement of a minimum of 100 transactions and £2,000 in the last 12 months”
Seems like anybody who actually sells on ebay is excluded from the promotion!
It is one thing to list for free but quite another to actually sell!
Seems like the only thing free listings days are good for these days is for extending your record of listings that have expired without a bid.
If you actually sell 100 items you are excluded from the next promotion.
Begs the question what is the point?
Seems that somebody at ebay has got the dates wrong on their calendar. Free Listing Weekends are usually 2 weeks apart. Then there are a few at 3 weeks apart and now at 1 week apart. I think that who ever arranges these has marked them on the calendar and miscounted. It can happen to the best of us. After all how oftenm have you been doing something and the phone rings and you answer it. When you have finished you have to work out what you were doing before and possibly miscount(I know I do)
