London eBay Seller Meetup 20th June

No primary category set

The London eBay seller Meetup has been restarted and are meeting regularly in London again with the next date scheduled for the 20th of June at the Blue Anchor in Hammersmith, London. The group was founded by veteran Nathan O’Hanlon in 2008 and after a break has been restarted with Christoph Rieche, co-founder of iwoca, committed to make this a regular occurrence once again.

The purpose of the Meetup is to encourage a support network for eBay sellers where they can share their experiences and concerns with others in the wider eBay community. Each meetup will have a different topic and iwoca is happy for you to make suggestions too, plenty of time will also be reserved to discuss latest news related to the community (e.g. Google, what the heck are they up to? How does it affect you? What are you doing about it?).

The group got together in the new Hammersmith venue in May, and the June session will discuss amongst other things the benefits of managing multi-channel sales and inventory management. I’ll be there to give an overview of what multichannel software can do for your business and share what the different vendors have to offer and Artem Verovenko from Linnworks will give a live demo of their multichannel software to give a flavour of what can be achieved.

The evening will kick off at 6:30 pm, drinks & nibbles will be provided so if you’re free on the 20th come and join iwoca, Tamebay and Linnworks. I always enjoy these types of events as even if the topic isn’t of relevance to my business at that time it’s always great to network with other eBay sellers and colleagues. I’ve never come away without some great ideas and some insider tips I’d not come across before.

You’ll need to sign up to the London eBay seller Meetup group to keep up to date for future events and I look forward to chatting over a beer or two if you can make it on the 20th!

  1. This was a good meeting, Nathan used to run it, and I enjoyed the networking. I may turn up to this if Linnworks are there…if you are considering a multiple channel system, definitely take a look it’s the dogs

  2. Yes, me too Linnworks is one platform I’ve not had chance to see in action but have heard some good things about.
