eBay billboards support the new TV ads

No primary category set

Following on from eBay’s new TV advert billboard posters have started to appear with the same whenever wherever theme. Rather appropriately, as Stuart from Urban 33 points out, it was raining when he grabbed the photo for Tamebay which matches the theme of the poster perfectly – The perfect jacket for the perfect storm.

For an advert which is so predominantly mobile orientated I found one thing rather interesting, the Android download from Google Play is the first icon shown, followed by the Apple App store logo. There’s no mention of Blackberry, Nokia or Windows platforms for which there are also versions of the eBay app. Of course if all five logos were used it would be crowded and look plain silly, but it’s just another indication of which mobile operating systems are used the most in the UK.
