Business finance company iwoca is in the running to be the Smarta 100 Business of the Year and have pledged to do something really special if they win. They’ll take the £10,000 prize, double it to £20,000 and lend out £1000 each interest free to 20 new online entrepreneurs in need of finance.
Then iwoca will rattle around all their partners to ensure that the entrepreneurs have all the support they need to get their businesses off the ground and up and running. To this end they’ve already got Royal Mail to drop a marketing package in place to kick start their businesses.
If you have a genius idea for a new eBay or Amazon shop iwoca are looking to support you. First you need to vote them up to first place so that they win the award (voting closes 2nd November), then send an application to [email protected] by the 15th November.
Go team iwoca, good luck in the Smarta Awards. If you want to help them win vote for them, tweet about it on twitter, share it on Facebook and get your friends and colleagues to vote for them too.
