50k free listings for business sellers 7-11th Jan

If you’re a business seller with either a Featured or Basic eBay shop get ready to be busy listing. From the 7th to the 11th of January you can list up to 50,000 30 day or Good ’til Cancelled listings for free on eBay UK.

Any listing either created, renewed or relisted between the 7th and 11th will qualify, but only the basic insertion fee is waived. All other fees including Picture Fees (when will eBay UK make all gallery images free?) will still apply.

Items will need to be offered with a price of 99p or higher, and if your account is below seller standards then you’ll be excluded from the promo. Full are on eBay.

  1. What I would like to know is ‘ what is the reasoning behind eBay’s decision to give zero insertion fees for business sellers on eBay.co.uk (for the third time) only and not eBay.ie, I feel this is an unfair trading advantage to say the least.
    eBay Ireland seems to have been forgotten We are not given any promotions of this sort for business sellers.

  2. Why is it only for business sellers registered as resident in the UK? Don’t sellers outside of UK pay the same fees?!!
