ChannelAdvisor has just announced the agenda for this year’s Catalyst Europe, and eBay are returning as a sponsor and keynote for this year’s event. For those of you who haven’t attended before, Catalyst is a great e-commerce event held annually in London, taking place this year on the 3rd and 4th of June in the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
eBay are back as Title Sponsor at Catalyst Europe and eBay’s Vice President of Trading, Tanya Lawler, will be delivering a keynote session on day one of Catalyst, discussing the latest online retail industry trends such as mcommerce, multichannel retailing and the evolving consumer.
Tanya is fairly new to eBay having taken up her new role in the Autumn. Previously Director of Direct Channels at Sainsbury’s and prior to that Group Commercial Director at Argos and VP of Retail at Capgemini, she reports directly to Clare Gilmartin, eBay VP, with the Buyer, Enterprise Sales and Marketing functions reporting in to her. It will be interesting to hear her thoughts on eBay and the first time many will get to speak to her.
“Online shopping is the fastest growing part of the retail industry, with new opportunities for brands of all size to reach shoppers,” said Tanya. “At Catalyst Europe, I’ll discuss the evolution of eBay, best practices in retail standards and new growth opportunities for retailers, including cross border trading. I look forward to discussing the latest trends with various attendees and meeting with merchants in person.”
Google and Amazon are among the other confirmed speakers, and topics such as international selling and Google Shopping are also a focal point of this year’s agenda. There’s also one session I’m especially looking forward to – “The Top Ten: Tips For E-Commerce Warehouse Management And Order Fulfilment”. You can see the full Catalyst agenda and book tickets on the Catalyst website.
