Like most sellers, Whirly of has been checking his listings in the hope of seeing the new eBay Premium Service logo. He’s a bit confused though and frankly so are we at Tamebay.
In the image to the left you can see in search results that two of his listings are proudly displaying the new badge. The eBay Premium Service logo is there to encourage buyers to view his items in the safe knowledge that The Whirlpool Bath Shop is one of the best eBay sellers to purchase from.
What’s strange is that when you land on the badge isn’t displayed. We’re not sure what’s gone wrong – is it that the listings don’t qualify for eBay Premium Service in which case why is the badge displayed in search results. The alternative which appears more likely (bearing in mind neither of the two listings offers an express courier option) is that the badge is being displayed in error.
eBay state “The eBay Premium Service badge will be displayed on the item page and in search results for listings that meet the new requirements”.
It’s possible that it’s a temporary glitch and the eBay Premium Service icon in search will disappear soon. In the mean time let us know if you see the badge displayed when it shouldn’t be, or if you think it’s missing from your listings when it should be visible.

You’re not alone, one of my listings qualifies but does not show the badge on either the search results or even when you click into the listing.

Is it worth searching to see how many posts on Tamebay have the words “Ebay” and “glitch” in the title?
They do seem to get themselves into regular unnecessary scrapes. Can’t wait to see what will happen when Cassini is rolled out.
