If you’re down my way in Sussex, specifically Brighton & Hove, then you might want to come to Waterstones for a talk and book signing I’m doing later in the month.
My new book Make Serious Money on eBay UK, Amazon and Beyond was published last week and this is one of the events I’ll be doing to promote it.
It’s the brand new 3rd edition of the book and is a bang up-to-date guide to selling on eBay and Amazon and elsewhere. On the evening I’ll be giving a talk, doing a Q&A and signing a few book. Doubtless afterwards we can repair to a local boozer for a more informal chinwag.
Waterstones in Brighton is on North Street right by the Clock Tower. The event is on 17th October from 19:30 until 21:00 in the branch. To reserve a free place you call the branch and there are full details here. I’m sure there will be a glass of wine or the like on the night too.
It would be lovely to meet you if you’re in the area.

Just ordered the book, looking forward to reading it.:)
Sadly, we have just arrived at the conclusion, after experiencing a serious and consistent decline in sales over the last 6 months, that we are winding down part of our ebay offering. Anyone who thinks they can make a living on ebay is deluded. All the hoops you have to jump through for ebay come to nowt. They simply could care less. Then you will always have some idiot without a business brain who thinks by being the cheapest they will make their fortune, killing the rest in the process of finding out you can’t do that without piling on some serious debts. Ebay has no care for the small business. Big business is run by staff who don’t give a damn about service and it’s not their money, it’s the business’ money, not owners who care for their cash and the service they provide – thus causing ebay the most challenges when policy is applied unfairly, so ebay want rid of them.
Anyway, not only will we not be selling anymore, we will not be buying from suppliers or from ebay, either.
