It looks like MyHermes is marketing its new international services, especially for heavier parcels wending their way over the Atlantic. We wrote about MyHermes and its international ambitions a few months back and now they are really marketing it.

At the moment we understand that you need to book parcels and the like on an individual basis and that will likely be time-consuming and unwieldily for larger volume sellers. But the word on the wire is that MyHermes is developing a bulk solution and a CSV hook-up that will be extremely convenient. We’ll let you know when we find out more.

ParcelMonkey.co.uk is much cheaper. Six of their quoted offers are cheaper than MyHermes to the USA for a 3kg package and the cheapest is just over £22 with delivery in 4-7 days. That’s a huge saving on the MyHermes price.
