iZettle is rolling out a couple of big updates this week. It has completely revamped its Android application for merchants allowing them to accept contactless payments and now iZettle merchants can send their customers receipts via SMS.
Here is the the digest of improvments:
For Android:
– iZettle’s Android users can now accept contactless payments via Android in the UK and Germany.
– The design and functionality of the app has been completely updated making the app much easier to use and accessible for payments
And when it comes to SMS with iZettle:
– Now iZettle users can send SMS receipts. The customer simply enters his or her phone number when making a payment and an SMS receipt is sent in a matter of seconds.
– It’s now only available for iZettle’s iOS app and will be rolled out to Android users soon.
