eBay have said that they’ll be starting to take courier delivery estimates into account from the 16th of December. Delivery estimates for Royal Mail, Parcelforce, myHermes, DPD and CollectPlus services will be adjusted on eBay UK in accordance with each courier’s recommended last posting dates for Christmas deliveries.
Some services, such as Collect Plus’ Economy service have a final shipping date of the 16th December, with myHermes just a day later with the last booking date for a courier collection being the 17th December although you can still drop off at a myHermes ParcelShop on the 18th December. Make sure that you know what dates your courier cut off.
Services will also be affected over the Christmas and New year holiday period. Pretty much every carrier will be shut for four days for an extended Christmas break this year due to Boxing Day falling on Saturday moving the Bank Holiday to Monday 28th December.
You may also find that your courier arranges an earlier collection time than normal on some days, especially if they’re collecting on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.
eBay also say that they will continue to monitor service levels in the run-up to Christmas.

They’ve changed DPD from 1 day to 1-2 days. Its not 1-2 days, its 1 day, i.e 24 hours, next day!!
Rediculous. My listings now say delivered either on the 24th or the 29th. There’s no either about it, delivery WILL be on the 24th! How does that help my last minute Christmas buyers?
Idiots.
