21 million people now use PayPal One Touch

Last year PayPal took steps to improve the functionality of its app. And one of the new features it added was dubbed as ‘One Touch’. That meant it was really very simple to buy something via the Paypal app.

Tamebay wrote about it here. And in the year or so since launch, it seems that One Touch, which still makes it very easy for existing PayPal users to make a payment, has been an astonishing success.

PayPal Global Head of Product Communications Anuj Nayar says: “We think that this is a validation of what we’ve been saying, which is One Touch is a revolutionary advance in online buying. We are growing rapidly. Just this year, we were 15 million in January, 18 million in March and now we are 21 million in April. This is the fastest rollout of any product PayPal has ever had. That means that when people see the PayPal button, they are clicking it.”

It’s fantastic to see PayPal reaching out and being successful. It’s also still really good news for eBay sellers if PayPal prospers.
