myHermes featHermes are investing a six-figure sum to support the phenomenal growth of their Business Accounts which are now used by more than 650 small businesses, many of whom are eBay Powersellers, across the UK

Hermes has bolstered its sales and support teams as an increased number of businesses look to take advantage of the benefits being offered by the delivery firm.

Whilst Hermes deliver parcels on behalf of 80% of the UK’s top retailers and etailers, including Next, ASOS, John Lewis, Debenhams and Arcadia Group, through its Corporate Accounts, the company also processes over 10 million parcels a year for its Business Account clients who send more than 150 parcels a week. This includes businesses working within a variety of sectors, such as clothing and fashion, sports equipment, camping accessories and homeware many of whom sell on marketplaces.

Since being launched two years ago, Hermes Business Accounts have offered a range of benefits including free van collection, as well as a flexible pricing scale, where the more parcels a business ships the more money it saves. Account holders are also allocated a dedicated account manager and receive access to a UK based customer service team.

Mike Antwoon, Sales Director of Hermes, explained the importance of working with their smaller retail customers saying “A Hermes Business Account is the perfect option for SMEs as they can benefit from economies of scale. In many cases, Business Accounts retailers have experienced incredible growth and become so successful they are now part of Corporate Accounts. This investment highlights the tremendous success of the service and we look forward to continuing our impressive growth in 2016.”

If you’re shipping more than 150 parcels a week (an average of just 30 per day) with myHermes, then consider applying for a Hermes Business Account to benefit from their increased support.

  1. 150 parcels per week – Average of 15 per day.
We still have a seven day week, don’t we?
Excellent maths skills there from My Hermes.

Last time I arranged a collection from them, they failed to turn up, twice and couldn’t be bothered to refund me for the service I paid for. Had to open a bank dispute for a refund. This was a test order I did with a parcel to a friend. No way would I use them for my business needs.
