It’s been a busy weekend with Tamebay, on Saturday I was up in Birmingham visiting eBay Shop Live!, Sunday saw me in London at Olympia talking in the ShopTalk at the Pulse design exhibition and tomorrow I’m driving down to Southampton to talk on BBC Radio Solent giving advice to consumers on how to sell on eBay.
You’ll catch me on the radio around 12.05pm on the Sasha Twining show and if you’re in the Solent area you can listen in on 96.1FM, 103.8FM, digital radio or of course online on the BBC iPlayer.
Consumer selling on eBay is vital for a number of reasons. For many years eBay have known that someone that sells on eBay, even just once, is a much more frequent buyer with a higher spend than a consumer who has never sold on eBay. Plus of course having some cash in your PayPal account makes you much more likely to respend it on eBay which is good for sellers.
If you’ve got any great tips for consumers looking to sell their first item on eBay please do leave a comment below and I’ll have a quick read just before I go on air.

I would advise to use a courier comparison site to ship sold eBay items as it can help you sell in the UK or abroad as the shipping rates are more reasonable so attractive to your buyers- Parcel Monkey is perfect for this and based in the Radio Solent area in Chandlers Ford
Don’t forget to mention how not to get scammed.
be honest, and dont expect any help from ebay if things go wrong
