Flubit has announced it will launch a new service called Flubit Go in partnership with delivery technology brand On The Dot.
Flubit Go will allow online shoppers to specify same-day 1-hour delivery slots. The move is designed to help independent UK retailers on the platform to better compete with larger players like Amazon in the “super-convenient” fulfilment space.
Flubit.com customers in London, Manchester and Birmingham will be able to arrange for their purchases to be delivered within an hour timeslot of their choice, meaning they can enjoy discounted prices on a range of products, including tech, toys, books, kitchenware, baby products, beauty and more along with ultra-convenient fulfilment. The service will land in the autumn.
They say that the delivery service will be significantly less than Amazon’s same day service delivery and will be available to all users, unlike Amazon’s similar service which is only available to paying Prime users.
