Xero and PayPal hook up to make paying invoices easier

Xero will be adding a PayPal Express Checkout option for SMEs using the accounting service. This means you will be able to immediately pay a Xero invoice using Paypal. Loads of Xero users already use PayPal and apparently $88.6 million worth of transactions have already been made by small businesses this year by Xero users. The integration aims to make those transactions much easier. Xero users paying by PayPal has already increased 40% year on year.

Steve Fusco, VP and GM of North American Distribution at PayPal says: “This partnership with Xero has allowed us to continue our mission of delivering secure and easier ways for businesses to get paid online. Sometimes it feels like you have to go above and beyond to get your invoices paid, but with PayPal Express Checkout, we are offering Xero customers a faster and simpler way to get paid, and reduce time spent on the payment process to just a couple of clicks.”
