Amazon has announced the launch date of Friday the 18th of November 2016 for the new Amazon Original series “The Grand Tour” with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
New episodes will be released weekly on Amazon Prime Video, every Friday from the 18th of Novemeber, exclusively for Prime members. That settles the question of whether you’ll be able to binge watch the entire series (Amazon’s normal release is a whole series at once). No you won’t, if you want to watch you’ll be logging into Amazon once a week.
“Customers have been desperate to find out when they can watch their favorite team back on screen, so we are very excited to announce the launch date of one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016,” said Jay Marine, Vice President of Amazon Prime Video EU. “The guys have been having a blast filming the show around the world and we can’t wait for fans to see it weekly beginning November 18, only on Amazon Prime Video.”
Prime members will be able to watch The Grand Tour through the Amazon Video app on smart TVs, mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire tablets, on Xbox, PlayStation, Wii and Wii U, and through the web… but the important thing is that it’s for Amazon Prime members. Amazon’s whole intent of video and entertainment is to hook you into buying stuff from them. “Sign up for Prime and get free deliveries and we’ll let you watch the old Top Gear team on their new show” is the message, although of course Amazon are a bit more diplomatic to say it quite that bluntly.
Whether you love or loathed (the old pre Chris Evans) Top Gear doesn’t really matter. What you should love is that it’s about to be highly publicised and that’ll get people wanting Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime members spend more than non-members. Just make sure to take advantage that your products are Prime Eligible (either in Fulfilment by Amazon or that you’re enrolled on the self-fulfil Prime program).

It works, perfectly. You just need to use a different email address each time….
Some are ethical, some are not. Amazon will probably do some sort of IP control.
