Have you ever fancied living in New Zealand? How about a free holiday with guaranteed job interviews lined up to see if you really could make the move?
LookSee Wellington is a joint venture with the Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency (WREDA) and Workhere New Zealand, supported by Immigration New Zealand and NZTech. They’ll pay for your flights from anywhere in the world, pay for your accommodation, meet you at the airport and have interviews and social events laid on for when you arrive. There’ll also be some free time to explore and discover what Wellington life could be like.
It seems to good to be true – a fully paid holiday with job hunting thrown in, but it’s only available to 100 people. To get to go, you need to apply and then the 100 chosen to go will be those who the most employers vote to see. If you’re in the tech industry, maybe a programmer, designer, systems engineer, android or iOS developer, business developer or analyst they want to hear from you.
The only cost to you will be food, drinks and entertainment and you have to be available for a week including the 8th-11th May 2017.
LookSee is designed to attract top talent to Wellington. Of course there’s no guarantee that you’ll be offered a job and you are under no obligation to accept if one is offered. They are out to tempt you though, so you’ll see the best that life in New Zealand has to offer and if you like what you see you could also land a job with a top employer.
