Calling all LGBTQ Tamebay readers who want to celebrate Pride in London in July. Would you like to enjoy a few nights in London at eBay’s expense and join in with the fantastic pride parade?
eBay says: “Diversity and inclusion is at the heart of eBay. Regardless of your background, religion, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation eBay is a marketplace open for all, connecting buyers and sellers from across the world. Cultural moments such as Pride are celebrated across eBay, with colleagues including the CEO getting involved. This year eBay will again be part of London Pride with a team of employees walking the route and championing our diverse community. eBay in the UK has created its very own Ford Mustang float decked out the in rainbow colours synonymous with the event. The day is set to be filled with celebration and joy.”
And they want sellers to be involved and have asked Tamebay to help. eBay in the UK is inviting two eBay sellers to join their team as part of the London Pride Parade. If you want to get involved simply email [email protected] in 150 words or under and explain ‘what Pride means to you’ by Monday 19th June 2017. An eBay panel will pick the winners. Tamebay editor Dan Wilson will be joining the eBay team as well as the two sellers selected.
(Boring small print:
– Selected sellers will be notified by 26th June by email.
– eBay will organise and pay for accommodation in central London for Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July for you. However, you will need to make your own travel arrangements and will need to cover all other expenses. You will be able to bring a guest with you.
– The parade will start in central London mid-morning, finishing late afternoon where you will be invited to stay with the eBay team for refreshments at a private event.
– You will be asked to wear an eBay t-shirt during the parade and may well be filmed as all eBay involvement in global Pride events is being documented.)

Would be nice if eBay put a bit more effort into stuff we sellers are paying for, instead of wasting money, time and manpower on such pointless PR stunts.
