How to sell on eBay: eBay product identifiers #tamebayTV

This week we come to the end of our series of ten ‘How to sell on eBay ‘videos on #tamebayTV. This week we consider eBay product identifiers. These are the EANs and GTINs that help eBay and Google catalogue the goods you have to sell.

Here’s the video:

Our eBay ‘How to” TamebayTV videos are produced in association with 1stoporders.co.uk.

The videos are all about clarifying key ideas about successful eBay selling so they’ll serve new and old eBay sellers alike.

eBay Product identifiers are increasingly both vital and required: you can really lose out if you’re not including them in your listings. Yes, it’s another thing to do and improve those many eBay listings you have but they are increasingly mandatory.

Previous videos have looked at optimising your eBay listings, eBay’s Best Match system, eBay Buyer Fraud, returns and also the importance of creating brilliant images that sell. And what about shipping or optimising your sales for mobile selling? Last week we looked at eBay Defects.

You can view them all here on YouTube.

One Response

  1. Many items listed on Ebay don’t have product identifiers e.g., collectables, which sell by the million on Ebay, but are being totally sidelined.

This is the ONLY area left that Ebay has the edge on Amazon and losing it would be really dumb.
