The Delivery Group has announced the appointment of Lauren Metaal as Sales and Marketing Director at Secured Mail and Paul Smith as Partnership Director the Delivery Group as part of the ongoing reorganisation that follows the management buy-out in June.

They say that having working in the sales and logistics arena for over 16 years, Lauren has spent the last 5 years as a member of the Secured Mail Operating Board. With a long history in New Business, Lauren has most recently led the Business Development team at Secured Mail.

Paul has over 15 years sales experience and extensive knowledge in domestic and international delivery. Arriving at Secured Mail from Whistl 4 years ago Paul quickly took up the position of head of International & Ecommerce and successfully developed new solutions and partnerships resulting in significant volume and revenue growth.

In other changes Mark Calladine is now CMS MD. Steve Stokes is now Group CEO and James Wilkins has moved up to the position of Managing Director at Secured Mail. Paul Carvell continues as Executive Chairman, and Mark Bigley, previously CEO at Secured Mail, remains as a Non-Executive Director and consultant to the Group.

During my five years at CMS we have achieved strong growth and retention, offering excellent support to our clients through our unique range of services. Our success has allowed us to invest in state of the art automation, enhanced IT with our one-stop-shop web-booking platform, along with the development of additional services. Combined, these investments allow us to scale for future growth as we continue to focus on delivering the very best service to our clients. I look forward to working with the board, our team and our clients to continue the growth of CMS and The Delivery Group, as we enter the next exciting chapter in our 50th anniversary year.
– Mark Calladine, Managing Director, CMS
