This is an interesting partnership as it demonstrates how brands and retailers are leveraging the selling power of Amazon to launch products and drive awareness. Offering Amazon only discounts not only attracts consumers to the site but also generates a fair amount of press in national newspapers – perhaps more so than the same deal at a major high street retailer would garner.
Amazon have partnered with OnePlus, they offered a deal at the Amazon ‘Home of Black Friday‘ pop up shop in SoHo last November.
