Amazon is headhunting for New York’s HQ2 experts after the marketplace listed new job openings last night. But as soon as the news of Amazon’s recruitment plans for The Intelligent Cloud Control (ICC) team of specialist had broken out, Tamebay have noticed that the marketplace removed the job listings for an unknown reason.
The marketplace were fueling the excitement for the positions of employment at their new corporate headquarters in Long Island City, Queens, New York City. Amazon had posted two engineering opportunities for ICC group, which is responsible for innovation at Amazon and management of the company’s organisations like Kindle, Amazon Video, Alexa and other subsidiaries.
The jobs’ descriptions for a front-end engineer and a software developer were saying that the future ICC team members would be hired specifically for Amazon’s expansion in HQ2. It said that both experts would focus on meeting “staffing needs” and deliver “engineering leadership” across all Amazon teams to support HQ2’s growth.
However, it remains a mystery why Amazon had removed the job listings. Perhaps, the marketplace is aiming to keep their business plans under the wraps, away from their competitors, or have Amazon already found the ideal candidates? It is also unknown how the marketplace will proceed with their plans to hire other 50 employees for the ICC group this year.
Amazon response
Soon after the emergence of Amazon’s hiring plans, the marketplace refuted the idea of recruiting for the new headquarters. They said that the two employment opportunities are for New York City placements instead of HQ2.
Amazon’s other new headquarters will be located in Crystal City, Virginia. The marketplace said they would take on board 25,000 people in both HQ2 locations over the next 10 to 12 years.

if the applicant can effectively remove the job listing from the internet by themselves, they get the job by default. Intelligent Cloud Control indeed!
