A Zalando Plus loyalty programme is set to expand its customer-retaining efforts in Europe. The marketplaces announced the move yesterday in their first quarter results.
The German fashion-led marketplace aims to strengthen their customer relationships with a wider roll-out of their loyalty scheme across European markets. The Zalando Plus scheme is currently available in Germany.
The scheme will see more European shoppers benefitting from loyalty programme perks. This includes a two-hour delivery window during which shoppers can get their returns picked up from a preferred location.
Zalando are currently piloting the loyalty scheme in Switzerland, with France and Italy to follow within the next twelve months. This means that European shoppers will see Zalando Plus available in 2020.
“Our clear customer focus has paid off in the first quarter, as we made further headway to build the starting point for fashion in Europe.”
