The Parcelforce Mobile App has been redesigned and launched with new features to help senders and recipients manage their deliveries more effectively. Retailers and consumers can start their sending journey in the app with a new ‘quick quote’ option.
The app has been redesigned to make it more intuitive and simple to navigate, with easy to follow instructions for registration. Customers can also download the app on multiple mobile devices.
There is new help functionality including FAQs, links to Parcelforce Worldwide social media channels and access to customer service teams. The app also includes a new feature enabling customers to have items delivered to their preferred Post Office® branch should they not be home.
Existing features of the app have also been updated to increase ease of use. In ‘My Parcel Live’, on the day of delivery the app now provides a delivery time and customers can track delivery to their door. It also includes delivery preferences such as deliver to neighbour, safe place and Post Office options.
“We have redesigned our app to help our customers and recipients to easily select how, when and where their parcels are delivered to. We want to establish the app as the primary communication channel for recipients of our parcels.”
– A spokesperson, Parcelforce Worldwide
And we’ve tried the app and it’s a lovely bit of pretty design and a dream if you want to add a tracking number and watch your parcel arrive. But please don’t use it for sending parcels as you can get the same service much cheaper. And by the same service we don’t mean a different service from a different courier, we mean you can get the same service from Parcelforce at a better price.
If you book through the Parcelforce Mobile App you’ll end up paying rack rate for your parcel, and most of the time you can get a better price by booking through Royal Mail owned Send It Now. Ok, you can’t book through the Parcelforce Mobile App and you’ll have to remember to open Send It Now in your browser, plus you’ll have to print your label, but for that the rates you’ll get for most services and weights will save you a fortune if you’re sending multiple parcels.

has even less credibility when
2kg via the parcel2go app
Parcelforce Worldwide Express 24 Drop Off
Drop off your parcel anytime today
Including £20 Protection
£8.15exc VAT
£9.78 inc VAT
Or even 30kg through parcel2go…. £11.39 (48) for collection (important with a parcel that size)
All I get on the Parcelforce app is a No Internet error. Even on the chrome app the track and trace freezes. Yet I can download their app using the same mobile data connection.
The app in my opinion is crap. How can there be no connection when I can download your app in the 1st place? Sort it out!
