This year, Rob Bigler took over as the General Manager for eBay Canada and you can meet him in person at the eBay UpFront event on the 6th of May in Toronto. Rob most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Product for Canada and Latin America.
Saying that he is a huge believer in the power of eBay to help small and medium-sized businesses sell to buyers within Canada and across the globe, Rob has announced that he will be hosting a series of meetings with Canadian sellers to hear from you about what’s working, what’s not and how eBay can help. The first of these will at one of the eBay UpFront events which is coming to Toronto on the sixth of May.
Rob says that the event will cover valuable topics for new and seasoned sellers, and feature updates from executives, a panel discussion with sellers and roundtable discussions around popular topics from getting started to cross-border shipping to social media and more.
There is a $20 registration fee for the eBay UpFront events, but you’ll get that back at the event with an eBay Gift Card, shipping supplies and swag – it’s basically just to stop people booking who have no intention of turning up as space is limited. This won’t be your only chance to meet Rob this year, he’s planning more events to meet Canadian eBay sellers:
“Beyond Toronto, I will host seller MeetUps in cities across Canada to meet with sellers to listen and review resources designed to make selling on eBay easier and more impactful. In the coming months, I will share more about what’s in store and why you should plan to attend.
In addition to events in Canada, we will be creating more frequent and convenient ways for sellers to engage with eBay. We are improving how we connect with you to make it easier to access information and tell us what’s on your mind through webinars, online seller town halls and our podcast.”
