From the 9th of June 2020, some of the postage rates through Hermes (drop-off and pick-up) will be increased when purchased via eBay delivery powered by Packlink. Packlink price rises will see an average of 18p increase. This should be no surprise as Hermes increased their direct rates from the 2nd of May. There will also be some weight band changes and the introduction of Hermes Postable – Drop-off service.
eBay delivery powered by Packlink weight changes
eBay are making a change to Small and Medium-sized 0-2kg parcels, they say to make it easier for selecting the correct weight band and parcel size.
0-2kg (Small) parcels will become – 0-1kg parcels
0-2kg (Medium) parcels will become – 1-2kg parcels
2-5kg parcels – no change
5-10kg parcels – no change
10-15kg parcels – no change
eBay delivery powered by Packlink price rises from 9th June 2020
Rates will automatically change from midnight GMT on the 8th of June 2020. So, when you use eBay delivery by Packlink online from the 9th of June 2020, the new rates will appear on the Packlink label platform.

Small 2kg parcel up from £2.85 to £4.36 massive jump in price!
Royal Mail is now cheaper for 2KG packages, Bye Hermes you have served me well, until now.
Courier collection has been convenient during the pandemic, however a rise like this is hard to swallow.
