eBay are running a raffle where you can snag a signed Premier league shirt signed by your favourite male footballer. The Shirts for Heroes raffle enables you to buy a £5 ticket by selecting a player from your favourite team and if your name is drawn out of the hat then you’ll win a shirt signed by that player. There will be a separate draw for each player and about 500 players to choose from.
Each ‘ticket’ you purchase will count as one entry and will be specific to each football player so if you really really want to win the raffle you can purchase multiple tickets to get multiple entries to win that player’s shirt.
All funds raised will benefit NHS Charities Together who support our healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly through the coronavirus pandemic, and sadly some of whom have lost their lives. This is a great way to show your support and, if you already buy on eBay, a really quick and easy way to donate.
The Shirts for Heroes raffle is part of the #PlayersTogether initiative – a collective project launched by Premier League players to help generate funds for the NHS. It has been set up to help those working on the NHS frontline amid the coronavirus pandemic and aims to distribute funds where they are needed most and to do this the players have partnered with NHS Charities Together.
This is also a highly unusual activity to see on eBay, although in these highly unusual times rules can be broken. eBay have a policy banning raffles, draws and sweepstakes so don’t be tempted to run your own. This is a one off exception to facilitate Shirts for Heroes and in order to help support our NHS.
If you would like to support the NHS through Shirts for Heroes, and won’t object to winning a signed shirt from your favourite player if you win the draw, then you have until the 14th of June to purchase one or more £5 entries.
