eBay are stepping up their Small Business Power promotions with both emails (as per the image above) and landing pages where products from small businesses are featured. As high streets and small businesses enjoy the final phase of lockdown restrictions lifting, eBay UK is today committing to help entrepreneurs survive and thrive beyond the pandemic, as part of the Small Business Power campaign.
As well as the Small business power promotions main landing page, there are landing pages for DIY tools, Home decor, Garden and Patio, and Toys and games.
eBay promised a number of things in the Small Business Power promotions and we’re already seeing some of these put into action. We’ll be checking in on all of the programs as they are made public.
- A series of new seller offers, including reducing fees by 5%, as well as 75% off new listing costs for existing and new business sellers to help them make the most of selling online. The first of these promotions is already running with details here.
- Coupons and discounts for eBay shoppers to incentivise purchasing from small businesses
- Investment in training programmes to help sellers make the most of the eBay platform
- Greater investment in marketing our small business sellers across TV, social, print and online media. We’ve already seen the EFL hook up with eBay to promote small businesses in addition to the landing page promotions on the site.
