The redesign brings new features for Pinners, Creators and Advertisers and as Pinterest continues to evolve to become home for the next generation of creators, these new features will make Pinterest more shoppable increasing the opportunities for monitising your activity on the platform.
- Put Creators at the core – enabling them to publish high-quality content and pays them for their inspiring content
- Makes Pinterest more shoppable than ever
- Offer Pinners more ways to watch, make and shop creator content – with a new look and feel
Why is Pinterest doing this?
“We have all come to enjoy the benefits of conventional social media in the past decade, but it has also left a lot of us behind feeling drained and exhausted. We’re recognizing our responsibility as the home of inspiration and therefore we’re committed to doing things differently. The launch marks the next step in creating a different type of network centered around inclusivity, positivity and true inspiration.
Pinterest’s new experience will foster more meaningful engagement between creators and their communities, encouraging people to react to, build on, make and shop inspired ideas.”
– Aya Kanai, Head of Content & Creator Partnerships, Pinterest
