With sustainability coupled with a cost of living crisis, many vehicle dismantlers are reviewing their inventory management system requirements and some are finding that their existing solution is no longer meeting the requirements for online trading and are as such looking at other systems available for dismantlers.
Nis Spec 1st is one of the vehicle dismantlers, who had been using an alternative solution for a number of years, until deciding to switch over to BreakerPRO, a system which is also being used by related business Parts 4 Pickups, which gave them the familiarity and comfortability of switching to them compared to others available on the market. Company director and system developer Alistair Lyons visited both premises in October to discuss the move and work on any suggestions with them in person too.
BreakerPRO worked with Nis Spec 1st to gather their requirements and provide a smooth transition from the old system to the new one. The transition to BreakerPRO provided for the stock to be imported over from one system to another, and their bespoke label locations being added, allowing for continuity in place. Support and training were provided to their users. Once Nis Spec 1st were comfortable using BreakerPRO, their previous solution, Pinnacle, was disconnected and no longer required.
Pinnacle was very basic, old fashioned style programme where issue did occur, with BreakerPRO it has great help assistance, a more up to date programme, up to date listing templates and quicker and easier ending and re-listing products which saves so much time being a growing business.
