From the 2nd of January, there will be new Royal Mail International Business Contract Prices coming into effect. You should consult the new price guides as prices for some products/territories will rise by as much as 20%, although others are being held.
As well as new formats which could save money, it’s worth considering upgrading to tracked services, as for some destinations (e.g. the USA), tracked will become cheaper than untracked services.
Royal Mail International Business Contract Prices from 2nd January 2024
- International Business Mail Services rate card
- International Business Parcels rate card
- International Business Letterboxable rate card
International Tracked services (country-priced)
Royal Mail are reducing or holding Tracked prices across most countries, with a few exceptions
International Tracked Heavier
Royal Mail are introducing a standard rate card for International Tracked Heavier (parcels up to 30kg, on product codes HVB/E/K/L)
Letterboxable Parcels
The New Year will also see the introduction of a new Letterboxable Parcels product for items with dimensions less than 353 x 250 x 30 mm, which are at a lower cost than Tracked/untracked parcels for a selection of European destinations
Untracked International Business Products (country-priced)
You will notice generally increasing prices which Royal Mail say reflect higher delivery costs. They point out that Business Tracked (MP7) is now the most cost-effective way to send parcels to USA.
Volume-Related Discounts
Royal Mail are introducing Volume-Related Discounts (VRDs) on the untracked, country-priced services (both letters and parcels), dependent on the number of international items posted per site per order. These discounts will be automatically applied to your invoiced price
Zonal-priced international services
All Zonal-priced international services (Tracked, untracked and Response) will be increasing all by 10-20%
