eBay appear to have got confused over whether I’m based in the UK enrolled in eBay Plus or if I’m in the US and enrolled in eBay Bucks. Both logo’s are appearing in my eBay Plus dashboard page and the eBay Bucks logo is incorrect as that program is now out of Beta.
Personally I’d prefer to be in the US program as they get double the points that we do in the UK (2% instead of 1%), but then the US business is lagging behind so they need to give buyers every possible encouragement to keep buying. To be fair in the UK eBay have a whole raft of promotions running enabling buyers to earn double or even triple points depending on the category or seller they’re purchasing from and it’s a pretty good incentive to carry on buying on eBay.
I know it’s only a logo and I know it doesn’t really matter, but it’s sloppy on eBay’s part. Give me my eBay Plus logo back please!
