Monsoon Commerce, a solution enabling sellers to list product on eBay, Amazon, Buy.com and Play.com, have hit a major milestone. They’ve now helped their merchants to sell over 50 million Items on Amazon.com.

They’ve also announced release of the latest version of their Monsoon Seller Edge and Monsoon Seller Pro tools. Key features added into their software are:

  • Enabling sellers to establish FBA pricing strategies to ensure that their listings are competitively priced only against other FBA or Amazon Prime listings
  • Automatically rematching a seller’s listing to the correct ASIN ensuring that listings experience no down time when multiple ASINs for a given UPC are consolidated by Amazon
  • Monsoon Perfect Match ensuring that items are listed against the the best-selling ASIN on Amazon

“We are thrilled to offer our sellers even more support for their growing sales on Amazon.com and FBA. These enhancements really help our sellers succeed on Amazon, and the fact that we have helped them sell over 50 million items is a true testament to these efforts. With each of these features, we are ensuring even more success for sellers”
Clark Hale, vice president of product management for the Monsoon Commerce Seller Solutions division

I really like these new features, especially where a product has multiple ASINs the ability to list items against the best selling ASIN. Anything that makes sellers more efficient has to be good news, especially when it’s automated and requires no input from the seller.

  1. The fact that there are multiple ASINs for a given product indicates a problem with Amazon. It is a shame that anyone has to rely on a third party to handle this.

50M might sound like a lot but I’ve done at least 1.7M for eBay on one app alone in less than 3 years. The other app doesn’t keep track of that sort of information but there are 10’s of thousands of listings every day that it actively manages.
