There’s a free listing weekend for private sellers this weekend on the 25th-26th February 2012. You can list up to 100 auction style listings with no insertion fees to pay.
The free auctions simply need a start price of £1 or more (you’ll have a private seller allowance of free listings with start prices of up to £0.99 anyway) and as is now customary use of professional listing tools are banned.
Business sellers and PowerSellers are excluded from the promotion and check the on eBay for full details.

Thinking about the recent offers for 50,000 free listings I find myself wondering if ebay have missed a trick here in not increasing the number of Free Listings from 100 to say 500 or perhaps 1,000.
As a professional seller, I notice a significant dip in my sales everytime eBay has one of these free listing weekends for private sellers – has anyone else noticed this?
