Amazon courts Whisky distillers and luxury Scottish produce

No primary category set

Scotland Food and Drink is holding an event in Glasgow to encourage more Scotch whisky distillers to sell on Amazon. The event is also aimed at producers of other high-end Scottish goodies.

The event, to be held in Glasgow on 31st January, will include representatives from Amazon and Scotland Food and drink. Find out more here.

According to the website: “Amazon.co.uk is looking to develop this range, specifically their whisky and spirits offer and is keen to meet Scottish distillers with the potential to supply who are able to demonstrate that they have excellent quality products and the capacity to manage volumes and consistent supply.

Amazon.co.uk is looking for a broad range of whisky and spirits to strengthen their current range, but is particularly interested in meeting distillers.”

  1. This article has raised a few eyebrows with the Seller Dynamics team this morning after some recent work we’ve done with a whisky client. We listed them on Amazon at the end of November and both ourselves and the client have been blown away by the how Amazon shoppers have responded to whisky being sold online. We’ll be watching this unfold with interest. Our blog has a bit more detail about our particular story.
