eBay just caught me by surprise – we only had a free consumer selling free listing weekend just gone and there’s another one this weekend. Typically they’ve been a fortnight apart so two weekends on the trot is out of the ordinary. A sign that eBay are moving ever closer towards free listing fees regardless of start price all of the time.
Apart from the timing everything else is normal, free insertion fees on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th for private sellers, for auctions with a start price over £1. No professional listing tools to be used, just the sell your item forms or mobile apps.
There’s a limit of 100 free auctions and as is the norm your account needs to meet minimum seller standards in order for your insertion fees to be waived. Check the aff_link("https://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/0IF_130316/index.html","eBay promotion page for the full terms and conditions","","UK"); ?>.

sod all free where ebays concerned, they will be slicing their pound of flesh from someones arse somehow
The US site is having it’s first “open to all” zero insertion fee promotion for something like a year (with a maximum of 500) Looks like they are keen to globally jack up the number of listings as the first quarter nears its end.
