The guys at iwoca are pretty chuffed to have been awarded a place on the 2013 FinTech 50 Watchlist. The list honours the movers, shakers and disruptive technologies that are redefining the future of financial services and that will have a significant impact on the industry.
The FinTech 50 Watchlist is supported by The CEO Agenda, ICON Corporate Finance, Hotwire, Silicon Valley Bank and Fox Williams. This inaugural edition, selected by a panel of ten industry leaders from across the financial services and technology industry, is the first of an annual exercise to track fifty Fintech companies across Europe who have the potential to become game changers or the competitive power to continue being one.
UK Online Seller Meetup – 20th March, Birmingham
Don’t forget that you can meet the guys at iwoca over an informal drink on Wednesday next week at the UK Online Seller Meetup which is taking place in Birmingham. It’s the evening of day 1 of Internet Retailing Expo so if you’re in Birmingham come along and have a drink and relax in the evening.
There will be a couple of discussion topics, first up is Ian from 3PL who will talk about fulfilment – A timely topic bearing in mind the changes to Royal Mail’s price structure kicking in on the 2nd of April. Often with fulfilment there are significant savings to be made on carriage charges which could cover the cost of the storage, pick and pack fees.
Then Tamebay will be moderating an all star panel of multi-channel experts who will discuss eBay, Amazon, Royal Mail and Google changes coming for 2013. This is a session not to be missed if you want to hear the latest news with the chance to ask questions from the experts. The panel will include James Scott of Brightpearl, Mark Craig of eSellerPro, Fedor Dzjuba of Linnworks and Rich Himsworth from Visualsoft.
