eBay are in the process of launching the new eBay “Profile” Pages and at the same time scrapping “MyWorld” pages. This change does not affect your “About Me” page.
Some MyWorld features, including the link to your “About Me” page, Business Information, Guestbook, and many parts of the Bio section, have not been carried over into your new Profile.
The first things you’ll want to do is ad an image and a Facebook style cover image (sized 1200 pixels high by 270 pixels wide).
Items for sale, eBay reviews that you’ve written and any eBay guides you’ve composed will automatically be imported and display on your new Profile page. Your feedback will also be displayed automatically.
Have to say I always hated MyWorld, the layout wasn’t great, no one maintained their pages, guest books were used sporadically and blogs were scrapped years ago. The new Profile pages are a much more modern look and feel in keeping with eBay’s newest look and feel and once set up will require zero maintenance.
The new page also has an “Add to Favourite Seller” link, as well as social media sharing buttons should you wish to pimp out your own (or someone else’s) eBay Profile.
You can see my new profile page at , to get to yours simply replace “Chris” in the URL with your own eBay User Id. In due course links on eBay will be updated and MyWorld links will gradually be redirected to the new Profile Pages.

Thats a huge step in the right direction. Has a clean “apple” like feel to it.
I’m more impressed you got the user ID “chris”, was that when eBay deleted all the old accounts and re-issued their IDs?
