You get something like $160 million to produce a car show on Amazon, but have never made a single Amazon purchase? That’s Jeremy Clarkson for you, although he told a press conference that he signed up as an Amazon customer on Monday.
Well it would be rude not to wouldn’t it and he probably wanted an Amazon Prime membership so that he’ll be able to watch his new show when it comes out in the Autumn.
Saying he was ashamed to admit that he hadn’t previously been an Amazon customer, he told reporters “Has anyone tried shopping on Amazon? How do you stop? I haven’t stopped shopping since. I’m not going to have any money left, I’m going to buy everything then sell, it’s addictive“.
With the money that Amazon are paying Clarkson and co, the least they can do is return a bit of it to Amazon. Keep a look out on your sales going to Oxfordshire, it’s a long shot but he may just have purchased something from you.
