Shall we head to Las Vegas for eBay OPEN in July?

No primary category set

eBay seems to have revived the idea of seller events stateside and this year the big date is being held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas in July. It’s being held over several days, costs $199 and is billed as eBay OPEN.

Check out the event page here.

Here’s how they’re promoting it:

Learn. Attend general sessions and a myriad of topical workshops for insights into eBay’s long term strategy, updates on your eBay seller tools, and programs to grow your business. Learn how to streamline your customer service, create listings that sell, marketing tips and tricks, shipping programs, and MORE—all shared by eBay and other industry experts.
Network. Meet and network with other sellers, industry leaders, eBay employees and business partners.
Celebrate. Let’s recognize our vibrant eBay marketplace together. We measure OUR success by YOUR success… come celebrate with us!”

But as it stand the agenda is looking a little thin right now.

Chris and I are considering whether we can justify the expense of attending (and the time off) but it’s great news that eBay staff and execs are once again willing to press the flesh with real-life sellers at an event in the US. We’d like to see a similar event here in the UK some time soon.

  1. Oh, please do come to Vegas! Or at least send Chris!! He is long overdue to attend a US eBay event…we’ve wanted to have the honor of his presence at the eBay Radio Party & Conference for years now. And this is a 4-day event in Vegas, babee!

    Hope to see y’all there…
