Amazon.com will be celebrating taking top prize in a customer satisfaction survey today (Wednesday) by offering shoppers a discount.
For the second year in a row Amazon has been ranked top in the annual Harris Corporate Reputation Poll. The company has been in the top ten for nine years but this year retains the top spot with a record high score of 86.27.
The Harris Poll survey compiles the views of 23k shoppers across the US. They consider various criteria: Emotional Appeal, Workplace Environment, Products & Services, Financial Performance, Vision & Leadership, and Social Responsibility. Amazon was rated excellent across the board.
To mark the plaudit Amazon is offering a $8.62 discount, to reflect their score, on all baskets costing more that $50 for one day only. They just need to enter the promo code BIGTHANKS at checkout.
Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos says: “A huge thank you to customers – we’re energized by this recognition and will keep working and inventing on your behalf. And congratulations to all Amazonians – these accolades are a direct result of the whole team’s obsession over customers, pioneering spirit, commitment to operational excellence and willingness to lean into bold bets.”
We’re not entirely sure on the exact terms here. But it’s likely just available to US shoppers using Amazon.com.
