Amazon Handmade goods available via Prime Now this Christmas

No primary category set

Amazon is taking the fight straight to embattled Etsy by offering goods from its Amazon Handmade range via the Amazon Prime Now   service.

Prime Now offers one and two-hour delivery slots. And Amazon Handmade is a dedicated marketplace for genuinely handcrafted items

This marks the first time Amazon Handmade Sellers have been able to plug into Amazon’s fastest delivery method that will be operational up to and including Christmas Eve.

Amazon Handmade products will available via Prime Now from today for Prime members to shop in Austin, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle through the holiday season. It looks like the service will only be available in the USA.

Stephenie Landry is the vice president of Prime Now and said of the development: “Amazon is thrilled to continue expanding on our commitment to small businesses and artisans who can leverage Amazon’s last-mile delivery technology to get their handcrafted items to Prime members in an hour or less. This holiday season, customers can shop an even greater selection of handcrafted, giftable items and have the products delivered through Christmas Eve – the ultimate solution for those procrastinators who still want to get a unique, quality gift for their loved ones.”
