PayPal owned Xoom have increased International money transfer limits to $25,000 per transaction to over 50 countries including India, Canada, United Kingdom and the Philippines. Previously the limit was $10,0000. For ecommerce merchants sourcing overseas, you may be pleased to know that Xoom also operates in China.
With Xoom, you can send person to person money transfers to 75 countries around the world. Now to over 50 countries, Xoom customers have even higher send limits with highly competitive exchange rates to conveniently send large bank deposits wherever they are, whenever they want, using only a mobile phone.
Customers can also use Xoom to pay electricity, telephone, gas, and more bills in select foreign countries in addition to bank deposit services. Xoom also added the ability to top up a mobile phone in some countries. Although owned by PayPal, you can’t use your PayPal balance to fund a Xoom transfer and don’t even need a PayPal account to use the service.
