Survey: The Biggest Barriers to Long Term Ecommerce Growth

No primary category set

SurveyVolo Commerce has today launched a survey on long term ecommerce growth, inviting sellers to highlight what they see as the biggest barriers to growth and the priority areas for the future.

The survey focuses on the experiences of 2020, the lessons learned and how they’re shaping approaches for 2021 and beyond. Has the last year highlighted blockers that were already there or are we heading into a period of extended hyper-uncertainty?

“It’s hard to imagine 12 months with greater upheaval than the 12 we’ve just experienced. What’s more, Brexit issues are still not yet resolved and we’re coming into a period of major change with EU regulations too. It’s really hard for merchants, brands and retailers to plan and strategise against this kind of a backdrop, especially when so much time is spent on reacting and fighting fires.

It’s in everyone’s interest to remove or at least lower the barriers to sustained growth, which is why we’ve launched this survey. It gives the ecommerce community a chance to volunteer their experiences and share what they think needs to happen. The survey results should give us all a sense of the collective priorities for growth in the coming months and years. The aim is better planning, better forecasting and more predictable growth.”
– Tony Kyberd, CEO of Volo Commerce and Head of Platforms at ecommotors who are a sponsor of Tamebay Live

The survey will run for 2 weeks until Friday 23rd April and Volo will present the findings at the Tamebay Live week which starts on 17th May.
