Good news for Australians, Click Frenzy are to launch a new Frenz Central marketplace with a premium assortment of quality brands and products available to shoppers. Good news also for merchants as there will be an additional venue to sell to Aussie buyers.

Click Frenzy, an online shopping events venue, has long been known for featuring exceptional deals on a huge range of quality brands for limited time shopping events. Frenz Central will feature great brands, great value and great rewards on offer via the ‘Frenz with Benefits’ loyalty program.

“Over many years now we have built a huge fan following of online shoppers and brands, with a proven formula of excellent savings, exciting promotions and quality products for a limited time. Launching a marketplace as an extension to our events allows us to reach and reward our loyal shoppers year-round, and opens up a new avenue of brands and products. We’re putting the foot down in 2021, and Frenz Central is an important part of our growth plans.”
– Grant Arnott, Managing Director, Click Frenzy

Mark Gray Click FrenzyIndustry veteran Mark Gray will lead the Click Frenzy marketplace. Mark is one of the most experienced online marketplace experts in Australia, having worked as the Managing Director of Australasia for ChannelAdvisor, the Head of Marketplaces at Catch.com.au where he played an instrumental role in launching and growing the marketplace and has worked in partnership with the likes of Amazon and eBay in this role. More recently, he worked with TheMarket, a premium New Zealand marketplace owned by The Warehouse Group.

Click Frenzy’s growth is impressive, with 1.6 million shoppers on its database and they’re on track to seeing 30%+ growth for FY21 without any revenue from the marketplace. They also experienced 61.95% more traffic in 2020 compared to the previous year, despite losing their travel category due to COVID-19. This growth alongside a star collection of brands, Click Frenzy has all the ingredients for establishing a successful marketplace. The technology platform chosen for Frenz Central is Mirakl, the global leader in marketplace platforms used by Catch and Bunnings in Australia.

Merchants joining the Frenz Central marketplace will benefit from the huge volumes of traffic generated during Click Frenzy events, with shoppers encouraged to continue shopping the marketplace after events to earn rewards. The marketplace is on track to launch in the first half of 2021, with the range continuing to grow leading into the major online shopping event month of November.

“With Mark and his team’s talent and experience, plus the Mirakl platform underpinning the marketplace, Frenz Central is superbly placed for success. It’s going to be an amazing experience for our loyal shopper base who already love what we do with Click Frenzy, and preliminary talks with merchants have indicated plenty of excitement. It’s time!”
