It’s been a year since the International Marketplace Network launched and now they have over 3000 Partner Sellers – from more than 60 countries worldwide.
It was October 2019, that the International Marketplace Network was founded as a joint-venture between Kaufland (Then known as Real in Germany), Cdiscount (France), eMAG (Romania) and ePRICE (Italy), who created a digital ecosystem for professional merchants, providing access to over 230 million potential customers in Europe. If a merchant registers on any of the partner marketplaces they can then sell on the others at the click of a button.
The Network allows Partner Sellers to sell on multiple markets without technical effort or increased fixed costs. By opening an International Marketplace Network account in few clicks, every small, medium business up to large complex enterprises, can start selling cross-border managing their inventory and orders in a single back-office. The aim is to make accessing the vast number of potential customers across Europe from the first marketplace that you register on.
Sellers can also use fulfilment services from Cdiscount and eMAG, while advantaging from the IMN dedicated support and without needing to translate offers when products are present across markets.
What’s next for the Network? Well as a part of their upcoming expansion plan, the International Marketplace Network say that they will incorporate more marketplaces, growing the Pan-European Alliance for retailers.
