It’s a momentous week for Nature Spell who have just marked the incredible achievement of 1,000,000 transactions on TikTok. And this was achieved in less than 12 months of trading on the platform.
We hear from many wondering if TikTok is just for small businesses as the sales potential isn’t there, but Nature Spell are dispelling this myth in style, yes they are a family run SME, but they are by no means a small business in terms of turnover, and indeed are a stellar example of a UK manufacturer based in London who are prospering, in part thanks to their TikTok business. There are plenty of larger brands who would welcome an additional million sales a year, and TikTok is just getting started in terms of their marketplace ambitions.
When we ventured into TikTok, our initial goal was to create awareness. We never imagined that a small, family-run business, bootstrapped since day one, would touch this milestone in such a short span and a limited marketing budget. Honestly, we were so engrossed in our journey, so focused on our end customers, that this incredible number took us by surprise.

We spoke to Sach Gulati, MD of the business back in August where he told of their start on TikTok and how the business rapidly exploded from a couple of orders a day to multiple thousands a day. At the time he explained how they were set up as a manufacturing business and that when they launched on TikTok they rapidly discovered coping with the order volumes was close to impossible… fortunately Fulfilled By TikTok was launched just in time to rescue them and enable them to sub out order fulfilment to TikTok and return to concentrate on manufacturing. Such is the success of the business, that Sach as recently been in the states to launch on US TikTok shop. Sach is moving fast as TikTok Shop only launched in the US on the 12th of September, so they were one of the first to be up and running in America.
