With the holiday season underway, TikTok UK have launched their inaugural TikTok Advent Calendar to help get everyone in the festive spirit!
Throughout December, TikTok ADVENT is bringing festive cheer and helpful hacks to our community with daily doses of joyful creator-fuelled entertainment, music, offers and rewards on @TikTok_UK. On 1st December, TikTok’s very own Celebrity “Sam-ta” Sam Ryder and his helpers opened a virtual Advent door each day to reveal exclusive content. These doors spring open to deliver exclusive surprise-and-delight content from some of the UK’s best loved Creators, Artists, Brands and Publishers.
The TikTok community can access the TikTok Advent calendar by searching #TikTokAdvent and clicking through to the dedicated editorial hub via the search banner, or by heading to @TikTok_UK – or enjoying content pops up all over the For You Feed!
Amongst the editorial highlights, TikTok users can also have the opportunity to access branded content and unique deals from some of the UK’s favourite brands including Dyson, Paramount+ (@paramountplusuk), L’Oreal (@lorealparis), Lidl (@lidlgb) Warner Music (@warnermusic) and Tesco Mobile (@tescomobile) and Peloton (@onepeloton)
On December 7th, charities including Save the Children (@savechildrenuk) celebrated their Christmas Jumper Day and Dogs Trust (@dogstrust) have also joined the merriment and have been providing exclusive festive content and joy!
As well as counting down to the big day, an exclusive TikTok Shop collaboration with L’Oreal will enable users to enjoy seasonal beauty inspo and seamless Christmas shopping, all in one Shoppable Entertainment special. TikTok Shop has teamed up with some fabulous faces in the beauty space including @thepatriciabright and @graces.faces_ who’ll be showing how they’re staying on top of their beauty and skincare this Christmas, and giving users the chance to get their hands on exclusive-to-TikTok stocking-fillers (plus a few viral favourites)!
And of course what better festive soundtrack could Advent get than from TikTok’s Sam-ta himself – the UK’s most joyful artist – Sam Ryder! Sam’s brilliant Christmas banger: ‘You’re Christmas To Me’ was released exclusively via Amazon Music on 7 November 2023, through East West. The Space Man took to TikTok earlier this month to announce “your new fave Christmas song”, with fans quick to pour praise on its refreshing upbeat tempo, dubbing it “an instant Christmas classic”.
Our community comes to TikTok for everything from ideas and advice on what to cook, tips on what to wear, inspo on gifts and the best of Christmas music and entertainment! And of course, TikTok Shop makes Christmas easy with a modern, seamless shopping experience to take the stress out of getting the hottest gifts.
