Winners of the 2024 TikTok Awards UK & Ireland

Last night in London, the winners of the 2024 TikTok Awards UK & Ireland presented by Sky were announced. 72 creators were nominated, 6 in each of 12 categories and looking at their back stories they are all amazing, but there could be only 12 winners…

… and the winners were chosen by the public vote with nearly 3 million votes were cast on TikTok, as the community came together to recognise and celebrate this year’s breakthrough entertainers, rising stars in fashion and beauty, sporting icons of tomorrow, passionate foodies, and so many more.

The event, held at Exhibition London, was hosted by internationally renowned television personality, artist, and author Michelle Visage. Attendees were treated to performances from Leigh-Anne, breakthrough artist nominee LeoStayTrill, and a DJ set from Bimini. TikTok star Charley Marlowe added her charm on the red carpet with Sarel as the roving reporter, capturing exclusive moments throughout the evening.

And we should also give a mention to @Sky, the presenting partner, @Lidl who presented the Food Creator of the Year award, @e.l.f. Cosmetics who presented the Fashion & Beauty Creator of the Year, and drinks partner @pepsi.

The TikTok Awards are a celebration of the incredible talent that shape culture on TikTok and beyond. These awards honour the nation’s favourite creators who have entertained, educated, and inspired millions of people in the UK and Ireland. @live_thedash Travel Creator of the Year

Before the awards were presented, we spoke to Ryan Losasso & Jade Beaty, who are known on TikTok as @live_thedash, and were nominated in the Travel Creator category. Ryan and Jade revealed the secret to their success, which is to travel to as many glamourous locations as possible, but to do so on a budget to show others how they can have a taste of the jetset life on an affordable budget.

As with many creators, they started part time but they did quit their 9-5 jobs to travel. Unfortunately they quickly ran out of savings and had to both go back to work but that wasn’t the end… they started finding the cheapest flights every weekend and concentrated on high end production… and had to be back every Sunday evening ready to go to work again the following day.

Their big break came when one video went viral and travel companies suddenly started getting in touch and the couple became full time travel creators. I’m thrilled to report yesterday evening they went on to win Travel Creator of the Year, the full list of TikTok Awards UK & Ireland 2024 winners are below!
